DiamondDachs is a small hobby breeder and does not mass produce puppies for profit. All breeding's are scheduled, and all dogs and puppies are taken care of inside my home as pets. They are not kenneled. Under no circumstances should a DiamondDachs pup end up in a shelter.

​Health tested, OFA Certification for basic cardiac and patellas and OFA CAER Certification for eyes.

Our puppies will be micro-chipped before leaving my home.

Companion puppies are to be sold on an AKC limited registration spay/neuter buyer's contract.

Lifetime support will be provided, which means if for any reason you cannot keep your puppy, the puppy will be returned to me for re-homing.

All potential buyers must agree to go through a screening process:

A puppy application to be filled by potential buyer and approved by the breeder.

Breeder/Client interview and meet-up (we are available to meet in person onsite at many dogs shows throughout the year)

If selected, a small non-refundable deposit will be due for processing and a Buyers Contract will be drafted for signature.

We generally keep our puppies until at least 10 to 12 weeks of age. This gives our puppies time to wean from mom and to prepare them for a successful start with a strong immune system. Our puppies will be seen by our vet and vaccinations will be started. The puppies will also be microchipped before they to go their new home.

Why do we do this?
Dachshunds are not for everyone! They are small, stubborn, tenacious little creatures who need be well trained. They require ramps and steps to avoid them from jumping off of furniture due to their unique body structure. Dachshunds are diggers, hunters and they tend to be very vocal. Dachshunds need to be included in your life. They are also very smart, very loyal and the most affectionate loving companions. A dachshund puppy can be a 15-year commitment. We want to ensure each pup we bring into this world will have a lifetime of love and adventure. DiamondDachs puppies are not for resale! To ensure this, we will only sell on an AKC co-ownership with limited registration.
